hertz
Hey all. Question. Whats the best piece of hardware for this setup... i am quessing some sort of channel mixer. All in the same space within my room i have my PC, my Xbox 360, and my dj gear. (DMX09 mixer / 2x cdj800, 600w amp, 2x 16in PA bins) save me swaping out cables for when i am using my gear, i want to run all my gear via my amp and pa speakers. Halo3 and bioshock running via 2x 16in PA speakers is INSANE!!! whats a cheap way of doing this....? hertz = noob. LOL! cheers!

Pakage
could go propper audio nerd on it and get an actual mixing desk: Trademe Link might be a bit overkill tho lol!
Dold
Or perhaps a smaller 4 channel mixer?
Mr. MuN
if you had turn tables you could just use your existing mixer, thats how i have mine setup at home 1210s = PHONO1 & PHONO2 PC = LINE2 (using 3.5 plug to stereo RCAs) Output = to AMP to Speakers Line Out = my old car subs & amp i've rigged up (2x 12" @ 800w) over kill but helps annoy the neighbours... Record Out = RCAs to 3.5 plug back in to LINE IN on the PC. I've ditched the recording for now but i switch between the decks and PC by toggling between phono and line on channel 2 of the mixer. not that this really helps, but thought i'd say. blazem has a smallish PA mixer that works a treat too. Grind
just use your existing mixer, thats how i have mine setup at home bingo especially fun if the mixer is a pioneer with effects. then you can fuck with the TV / computer audio and freak out the people in the room

Sounds good mate, my DMX09 is a 3channel mixer, say for example, having my cdjs on Channels 1 and 3, and the middle channel, it handles Both INPUT and PHONO - i can run my pc via INPUT, i cudnt run anything other then a turntable in the PHONO point can i? cause then i could flick the switch and run the XBOX via PHONO, but dont see that working... o.O http://www.storedj.com.au/products/product.php?id=24 <= My mixer mm, the effects on the PC would be quite cool!
