mike Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 i reckon...all slayer,metallica(before they turned into faggots),those first two pantera albums,iron maiden,megadeth......are fuckin amazing....were talkin serious drum patterns here weasel.epic epic epic stuff....dont forget that without the drums all you got is bass and melodies.and as for guitar riffs and solos....well we could froth about it for the rest of our days..... i work with a couple of bogans and we crank slayers "reign in blood" and metallicas "ride the lightning" religiously every single day in the work truck.....i never get sick of those tunes....big up the metal.... This is why i love dnb. We just take ideas/influences from other genres and throw them into our own not just copying, but in some cases improving on them.
