My condolences go out to victims that were caught up in the horrific act that took place at this gig. I am informed that it was gang related, and feel so sad that anybody would act in such a manner when the event was full of 7000 people having fun. I find it such a sad moment in electronic music as this was probably one of the best set up shows I had played in South America ? a sign of real progress?et utterly hijacked by this mindless act. Guest Posted November 7, 2007 Share Posted November 7, 2007 i heard rumours a few years back that skinheads were gonna shoot up the gathering... well, either it was bullshit or soeone sorted them out some good as ills and they just went raving. \but, this is taking it to another level. my bro has just been in a surf camp in guatemala for two weeks where no-one speaks english, theres no running water and you dont go into to the bush for fear of coke runners... so, yeah, feeling for all those out who got shot, hope that guy gets caught.im pretty sure its an eye for an eye over there still. Well fuck, wouldnt you hide . ffs, settle down, I think I made it pretty damned obvious that I didn't find it the least bit funny that people were shot, it just looked kinda funny the way he VERY SLOWLY ducked behind the decks (kinda like Oscar the Grouch ducking down into his trashcan), no need to get all righteous about it.
