phonetics
Hey Cluedo, That sounds all good about the DnB at the bar, I was a bit bothered that there would be no DnB there whatsoever! I keep hearing mixed opinions about the place but i'm just like "arh f*** it, i'll see!" Yeah keep me posted man a-tech: man, wish i'd checked those dates properly, oh well! Will be out and about in Napier soon enough though! Hopefully! Cheers, Edited February 4, 2012 by Guest

phonetics
yeah thought the bigger names would stick to the larger places, makes sense really!! I'd be more than up for a trip down to Wellington for a night out though. Would be sound if anyone can get down to Napier, I won't be there in Jan/Feb but I'd definately be up for any kind of event from March onwards. Sounds like you got a sweet arrangement with your ex girlfriend and her bar! Nice one
Grind
Yeah Napier is an interesting place, had a few mates who did the whole apple-picking thing down there.. thought the nightlife was pretty huge tbh! Obvioulsy not much in terms of good music but fuck, there were hundreds of people lining the streets- waaay more than you'd expect from a town of that size. Did you rate the skate-park at all Cluedo? I thought it was pretty deace- the locals were a bunch of hostile cunts until you'd busted your first trick.. then it was alllll good. Small-town skate politics I guess

phonetics
Things in Napier are sounding better and better everytime I log on! Nice one Grind, all sounds f***ing sweet! I'm so up for it after reading the last few posts! Was into skating but kinda moved my interests to my decks more and more until the point i stopped skating However I'm seriously tempted to start back up knowing there's a skatepark there too. Cool. zeb
ive skated literally every city in nz and ive gotta say skatingwise napier has got some good street spots for sure,a skatepark is a skatepark wherever ya go i guess.....but anderson park in napier is pretty cool.i think the bar we would play at is actually in flaxmere but when i was there a couple years back it was madness out in the bars there so im sure wed have a crowd weather they liked dnb or not.... like i said though its not till next year so ill work it out and let you fullas know.....also got the ohakune series in the works for next year too so stat tuned ....... phonetics
True man, a skatepark is a skatepark. At least there is somewhere decent to skate if there's nowhere else. The nightlife over there sounds good man. How far is Flaxmere from Napier? I'm well up for checking it out wherever it is Hopefully bring a bit more dnb to the masses! Keep me posted man and will sort something out. What's the Ohakune series? Edited February 4, 2012 by Guest

phonetics
wow, i first posted in here before i left the UK...haha, blast from the past! unfortunately i don't live there anymore! last time i was there, the only place you'll find someone playing DnB was at a club in Onekawa (not sure of the name). i'm 90% certain you could find somewhere to play out in town. avoid Maraenui...in fact, avoid anywhere between Willowbank Ave & Kennedy Rd. also avoid Flaxmere. Havelock North, Taradale and anywhere on the Hill are pretty good places to live. i lived on Chambers Street in Te Awa, which was okay. Hawke's Bay is a beautiful part of the country! vojtal
Hi guys how is it looks like now with DNB in Napier, Hastings, Havelock? I'm new in Hastings and I'd like to visit some club with electronic music (DNB, house, dubstep... whatever)... As Phonetics here says i found some Side Line Bar at Okenawa, but it seems more like some sport bar? And what about Cabana at Napier is it a good choice?
