Paul,

I don't know what to say or where to even start...

I've known you for a long time, just over 6 years I think it is now, and we were very close for a large amount of that time. You're right that you made me laugh a shitload, you were probably the cheekiest person I've ever come across and I miss our playfights and endless insults already. But you were also an incredibly deep person; even though you didn't show me that side of you very often I knew it was there and appreciated it. Although there were times I hinted at it, I love you more than I ever told you and wish I had one last opportunity to let you know. I promise to remember you for who you were and what you meant to me.

My love and thoughts go out to the England family.

All I can say is that I wish I could have gotten to know you better than I did bro, you were an awesome dude. I'm still shocked, like I'm sure everyone else is.

My love and condolences to the family and all those who were close, and are hurting. We have to respect your decision, a powerful one.

I can't wait to hear stories about you from all your mates, sounds like there's some good ones! I'll be there on Sat.

I'm gona miss you lots bro, I remember meeting you down at Hell Pizza in Grey Lynn a while ago now...the great conversations we all used to have while waiting for deliveries really gelled us all together. I had no idea when I walked into that job that I would come out with so many life long friends. You were certainly a smart man and good at everything you set your mind to - you became a good DJ, programmer n after seeing you pick up that fire stick for the 1st time at Taupo Bay...you were pretty bloody good at that too (there are some great photos).

No one can predict anything like this and it's hard to take on board. After all that ninja training you did, I figured you'd atleast die in battle or something :-)

Anyways, I hope the journey continues from this life and that we may meet again some day.

Peace to you mate,

Mark

Condolences to the England Family..

You were a great guy with so much potential.. We could talk shit and take the mickey out of each other without batting an eyelid.. I'll miss the Friday breakfasts, and the constant banter.. You were a a seriously nice guy and I feel privileged to have had the chance to spend time with you..

Peace my friend..

Sending my love to friends and family of Paul.

In the short time I knew Paul a good portion of the time was spent laughing, it's hard to believe that someone whom I'm sure was well over his quota for quick wit was so unhappy. I will never forget seeing your unsuspecting victims wondering around various events with pegs attached to them.

Watch over us. We'll need it without our Ninja to protect us.

(hahaha random memory - pushing your bed across the room so you could teach me to ninja roll - I still can't do it)

Kelz xx

Paul,

There are so many things I want to say to you that I know that whatever I write here won't even scratch the surface. We shared so many amazing experiences and must have covered every aspect of the emotional spectrum together. No matter what, your amazing character always shone through. I'll always remember your absolute willingness to make a complete arse of yourself just to make someone else smile. And, of course, your ill nunchuck skillz.

I know you were tired, I hope that you have found your peace now.

You will be forever in our hearts.

To all the England family, and our awesome friends, Kia Kaha. Together we will get through this.

Meke aroha everyone, if anyone needs anything you can get me on 021 118 1207.

(Paul, meke aroha means "much love", I know te reo was not your strong point! )

Peace,

Robyn

I met Paul soon after I moved to Auckland in 2003, it seems like for ever ago now. I hardly knew anyone to start with but Paul was happy to be my friend. We've had so much fun over the years, from endless hours of playing CS, to the mad parties we had at Commercial rd. You were a good flatmate but you've been an even better friend. You always made sure that everyone around you enjoyed themselves, your jokes will be sorely missed. I know you tried hard to find your place in life, it is a very hard thing to do. I only wish you could have found what you were looking for because I know there was nothing that you couldn't accomplish.

To Mark and the England family Kia Kaha, you will get through this.

You were one of my closest friends Paul, I will always remember the good times we shared.

Rest In Peace.

Paul was always a person i could easily spark up a great conversation with a genuine, friendly, funny, person with a sharp wit and a strong opinion and most defiantly a taste for a good argument. I know i will always remember his great sense of humor.

To Paul's family and close friends Stay solid and try your very best to be there and support each other. I wish you all the very best stand together and stand strong.

Peace Paul I Know you will return as a mighty ninja RIP bro
