On a happier note... below you can download a mix which Kritical recorded in December 2005

The DBNZ crew put on this mix in place of Kritical's scheduled set last Friday, the 25th of Jan, (which Paul wasn't able to make in person)... There's some pics from the night here also

Download Medium Quality MP3 - Bitrate: 239kbps (VBR), Filesize: 128.04MB

Download High Quality MP3 - Bitrate: 320kbps (CBR), Filesize: 171.67MB

It was a wicked night... never seen people rocking it so hard to an empty DJ Booth... Kritical would be proud as fuck.

I would like to thank each and every one of you that came to Paul’s funeral. I know there were a lot of sad young people there, and all the notes on the casket were awesome.

I don’t actually remember much of the day, a few things I can remember, saying hello to people, carrying in Paul’s casket, the shot of Paul and Mark holding hands running along the sand at Hot Water Beach and Yvonne’s speech which I nearly rushed up to help her with but she got there on her own, thanks Yvonne you did well and it must have been so hard for you. I have only spoken at a funeral once and that was hard so I know how you felt.

To every one else who spoke, Craig and Nathan and Greg and everyone else I can’t remember thank you also. Mark and Alan, you did a great job and I am so proud of you and I know this has made you both stronger, and older and I am sure changed you both in so many ways I don’t yet know and we are forever different. Paul’s death has brought us and so many other people closer together but I know that doesn’t make up for his loss. If I could turn back the clock… if only I could turn back the clock……

Paul had so many talents and was so wise for his years, an old soul, maybe too old to live and too young to die, as someone else has already said on this site. If I had any problems or questions about anything at all I knew I could call him and he would have the answer for me, what a legend!

I love reading all your messages and stories on this site they are truly heart warming.

We still have a long way to go yet , but if any of you guys there see anyone you think may need a hand, please do something, anything might make a difference, you just never know. Its often very hard to see the signs, but if you spot one, don’t do nothing, talk to someone about it, see if there’s anything you can do.

Christie, you tried so hard to help, thank you so much. If you have any ideas on how we can help others call me or email to englandchrissy@hotmail.com.

Thanks for the message Chrissy.

I have to say, that photo of Paul and Mark has to be one of the cutest photo of anybody, ever! It makes me wish I knew them when they were boys.

Adorable

Hi Everyone,

I visited the cemetery for the first time last week, frankly I was too scared to go. However, the visit was very beneficial and it was the closest I have felt to Paul even though I knew he wasn’t really there. It felt like he was and it was easy to pretend. Another mother I know told me that her son’s friends visited his grave and left little notes. I thought this was a great idea so I have left some pegs on the buckets and flower bowls for anyone who wants to peg a message to Paul. Love to you all, Chrissy
