Nato
Hmmm, I have a decent system in my car but not sure how much you'd end up hearing from any real distance away from it. You would really need to hire a little PA, a couple of 12's and an 18" or something.
zzzp
Yeh sounds wouldnt be to hard to sus, just the generator + involves abit of fuking around. Maybe should organise this with abit more notice.
zeb
ive had some experience with generators on a few skate trips while trying to light up spots at night for photos and i reckon if you can lift the generator by yourself it will not be powerful enough to run a sound system and decks...so ya kinda need a semi biggish one...and a very long extension chord so the awesome sound of a petrol powered generator is miles away from the decks/speakers.... but by all means this could be fun.....lets do it.... Hakomi
A 3 to 4 Kw generator will be plenty unless you want a stupidly large system But if you want lights its best to get two generators because lights tend to make the power surge more than usual. This is already a problem with generators so make sure you get a RCD the last thing you want to do is fry your mixer and amp.
