The Mashup Mafia
Some important q's for trouble shooting: What OS are you running? What Midi device did you hook up? Does removing it change things back to the way they were? What sound card are you using? Is it ASIO? What version of Reason are you using?

Future One
Make sure you add the line mixer at the top. Keep your individual channel volumes and mixer volumes out of the red. Turn the volume knob on the 'line mixer' up until it clips then ease it back a bit so your no longer clipping and you should be peaking at around 0db. Remember though that the beats that you're listening to on i-tunes will have had some mastering and will have a higher RMS that your tune straight out of reason and therefore will always sound louder.
