To those that no and those that want to no,there is a convey of soldiers heading down to welly the day after Noisia up here on the 6th of march, for another dose of beat rokin mayhem provided by the boys themselves once again. Its a big trip, we plan to drive for a lesser expense just so we can enjoy the fruits of our country ,plus im a broke ass, still may fly tho not sure yet.

If anyone else likes the idea and wants to step up for bak to bak sessions, well you should do it too,be good to see some ak heads checking out a different scene down in the well town.

So hold tight inside and come test it, its a fukin great adventure and im deffinatly tapping that shit up side my head.Dont no what the recovery time is like ,hard to judge depending on how your rinse cycle is mines normly a week.

Be good to bump into a few of you harder players down there. I can help with accomadation, choices of cafes, drugs to buy, sites to see and most of all a FUKING SMASH CENTRAL, RIP YOUR SHIT UP, DONT TEST IT, REPRENIZE FOR LIFE, NOISIATED GOOD TIME. or you make your own fun.So get your skates on and roll to it.ez on my flow.

I guess if I were more of a noisia fan I could find the money

Man, noisia will be worth it bro!! i hope my cashflow allows for the double dose!

Definately would be more keen to fly down though.. the whole 8 hour drive twice in one weekend after rinsing it twice at a club doesnt sound too fun to me!

see how we go eh!

Im taking ear plugs to both gigs and i plan to sleep on the way there and on the way home, that should give me my 16 hrs, thats if im still not guerning from the the bouble dose of two nights.

Done it before and bloody loved it,this will be the first time driving tho if flying doesnt happen.I must admit flying takes out alot of hassel on these escapades.

Yay, i just got myself some earplugs, similar to the ones in the link. Looking forward to testing them out at LTJ and Noisia in the coming weeks.

Do they have the acoustic resonator on the end to boost the higher frequencies or are they just similar in the sense that they have the 3 rubber domes? Makes a little bit of difference to the fidelity and hearing people talking to you and stuff.

I find that I can't get into the music as much if I go down to Fu and put them in straight away for some reason - its pretty weird. I usually wait about 10-20 minutes till I get the rhythm down and am really into it before I plug in.

Also, they can be kinda tricky to put in - for me, anyway - I find that they never go in the first time. The way I put them in is I push them into the opening of the ear canal with a fair amount of pressure on the ends then when they don't go in properly (which usually happens) I pull them out again and that tends to loosen it up a bit. Then I pull upwards on the top of the outer ear (the helix) and apply pressure diagonally upwards into the canal and push it in all the way so that all three cups are actually inside the canal but its not hurting. Number of times I've stood there looking like a dink trying to jam them in for a few minutes... if its not going in straight away just pull them out and try again. You need to have pretty dry fingers as well so it helps if you dry them on your pants or something first.

That's earplugs 101 for ya

They do have the stick coming out, and are supposed to relatively evenly affect all frequencies, and leave voices easy to hear. Agree, I have to really work them in there, its more to do with my angle of attack, and relative smallness of my earholes I think. Once they are in though they feel fine. One concern is i think if someone bumped the pokey out stick straight on when I'm dancing we may end up with the earplug equivalent of a through-and-through. In one side out the other. Wonder if I'll survive Noisia??

Well doing the preliminary loosening thing I described seems to work pretty well for me combined with the right angle. If I could afford it I'd love to get the custom fitted ones! They look awesome.

Yeah I never thought about that; a bump could cause a lot of pain/damage. Probably pretty low probability of them hitting it at the right angle though... if that makes you feel any safer
