ok, went to Perpetuum http://www.perpetuum.cz/ on Monday (who loves monday night action) in Brno last night. Looks like your usual small-time weekly dnb club. Best thing of all, its underground =) Shitty little door off a side-street thats near impossible to find... reminds me of home =*(

Pretty busy for a monday as well. As for music it was all hard. A bit of jump-up but mostly just hard driving tech which was what I would expect from this part of Europe.

Pics to come up later when I can be bothered =)

ok, more mindless drivvel from me

Looks like ive found a job, not bad for a weeks looking.

Good news first, its at the BBC!!! Bad news its moving archive stuff round.

Either way, ill finally have some income to waste on gigs =)

also, for those who care I have a new cellphone # for the uk. I gave the number to Perceptual Chaos, ask him for it, or myself if you see me online.

More photos to come when I can be bothered (aka when the camera is full and i burn it to cd)

ok, quick update, i have entered a vinyl junkies wet-dream fantasy mecca, heaven.. whatever you want to call it. I have 'access' or I can touch virtually every record ever made from Polydor, Columbia, RCA etc etc, all the old soul, funk jazz etc from whenever the label started to i guess the 70s or something cause the majority I currently have access to are 45's (there are 12's as well). Hell every big-name artist in the world would give their arms AND legs to be here.

Im sure there are one or two rarities in this warehouse and before you ask - no im not going to allow any of them to go 'missing'... If i wanted to get deported I wouldnt have bought a return ticket =p

Looking for some bar work later as well

hey guys - time for a pseudo-update on this thread.

Went to the True Playaz Monthly at Fabric last night.

Forgot the full line-up but Goldie, Fabio, Dj Hype (2 hours) and Andy C (Its his birthday today) all in one night... hell yes. Plus a mate of mine wanted a dnb education. Good place to start.

Set of the night for me by FAR was Goldie. A bit slower in pace but hard as nails tunage. Played this dubstep sounding tune at the end, fuck it was wicked. Might be one of his cause he gave the stand back and judge the crowd look for about half the tune.

Hype did his usual thing (2 decks thuogh), not much scratching but a few wicked dubs as usual. Andy C got the honour set and just did what he does best... but slightly darker than what he usually plays, not much in the way of cheese here folks.

I have a few photos to upload, they will go up this week I hope - or when Kritical fixes the FTP damnit =p

Keiann is meant to be visiting the UK as well, someone get him to email me when he is here or call me (enough of you know my number). Havent heard from the guy in about 3 weeks.

Plus you'll never guess who I met near Blackmarket (no JGA, it wasnt Blame =p), but the one like Keiann =p

Seems he has made it to London town, so hopefully the hilarity will ensue come this weekend.

anyway - photos are uploading as we speak... chur =)

OK - Hardware was a wicked night.

The End is really small compared to Fabric, but a really cranking soundsystem.

Had to leave a little early =( but saw Ink, Loxy, Teebee and ADI J (HOT!!!) play.

Got photos with Loxy, Teebee, Adi J and I think one of the Noisia guys. Will upload this week hopefully.

Marky and friends this weekend with Keiann hopefully.

Also. pic of the night was Teebee's setlist for the night I know you trainspotters will be keen for that.

Ok people - When Kritical recovers from all the welts your going to be giving him from the paintball, he will hopefully have time to put up the photos from last fortnights Renegade Hardware gig and also put back up the previous photos that are now shown as little red x's in white boxes =p

Anyway, Marky and Friends tonight at The End. Will be taking camera along as always. Keiann will be there as well so expect stupidity from at least one of us =p

Next week is just madness for me.

http://www.fabriclondon.com/club/listings.php (check the Lineup for the 25th.

3 Room Playaz extravaganza. Ill be spending most of that time in room 3 but it should be wicked.

Saturday and sunday are all about this tasty little gig - www.tdkcrosscentral.co.uk

Enjoy the photos ya'll

The night went off, Marky and Fabio played well as expected.

Highlight of the night was Marky dropping some old GLR and deep tunes before his set kicked off, The rewinds on Squash, Casino Royale (Original) and Atlantis.

I only have a few gurn pics of Keiann to post at a later date. His ears are probably still ringing from have no hearing protection =p

OK guys - BIG THANKS to Kritical for getting a gallery up of my pics.

Many more to come as well. If you have a question just post a comment next to the photo and I should be able to spill some bullshit on it.

http://www.turnmills.co.uk/primal/ - Check out what im having to miss this weekend for Cross Central. SERIOUS lineup. One of the best ive seen in a REAL long time.

Amit and Paradox LIVE, Doc Scott b2b Lee, Intalex b2b Klute, Digital b2b Storm.

Plus the rest. Oh well, Ill have to catch Doc Scott, Intalex & Storm at another time. As for the live sets, Id say thats going to be a onceoff =/

Anyway, check the gallery for photos and gurnage - chur

ok - more photos when Kritical puts em up.

First lot are Marky & Friends a fortnight ago, the rest are from Friday's Playaz carnival weekend.

Cross Central. So shit, yet so good. Cut Chemist, Nightmares On Wax and pretty much everyone else that played in room 2 had sound problems on Saturday. Fucking usless engineers. All acts in room 2 were cancelled on Sunday cause the lazy shits didnt bother to fix it overnight. That meant no London Elektricity 3-4 hour DJ set.

Luckily Sunday had Hexstatic, Amon Tobin and DJ Food. Before the gig I had a quick chat with Amon Tobin, thanked him for making the Slayer bootleg... He played it as his last tune!!!

Ticket said no cameras but everyone bought them so I was stupid not to... oh well.

TDK CROSS CENTRAL -

- Heaps of couches outside to sit on, and a few inside near the bar

- General music lineup

- Big venue

- ROOM 2 SOUND PROBLEMS. 2 acts stopped their performance to complain 'No Soundcheck means no sound' - Cut Chemist.

- House music of some sort being in ALL but 2 rooms after 3.30 am

- No directions/signs

- You had to pay £2 to see who was on when

still a good weekend, but could have been much better if they had done the little things right.

OK - it looks like im allowed to enter the country again, cause I finally got a pic with TONY COLEMAN. Yeah he looks like he has a gun to his back and he is scared shitless (I have the affect on people) but its a photo and ill take it =p. Also a few other pics with guys you might know of =p

Hospitality was a wicked night. One thing I do know is that Klute played an Amit track that is just plain orgasmic, felt like tackling him on the way out for the cd =p

anyway, keep giving Kritical some shit until the photos go on the site.

ok - looks like im still alive after Kid Koala.

My word can the little guy play. Busts out a solo (off new album) sitting on a chair out front like a sax player.

Im guessing he hasnt done parts of his set for a while cause he was a bit shaky at times, but since it was the album launch id say it was actually his first time doing some of the routines and performances.

One or 2 pics will come (including some of Banky's work I found on the way there) but only once Kritical bothers to put up the previous set of pics =)

As usual, ZeroDB played wicked tunes (always been a fan of his output on Ninja Tune).

Anyway, nothing big seems to be coming up for me so someone actually bother to comment on a picture in the gallery or something... im starting to think your all ignoring me ...

Got out to Ministry last night for Fuse.

Pretty cool lineup actually.

The first room is massive while room 3 makes fubar look spacious. (entire thing is size of fubar dancefloor)

Talked to the AI boys, said that Matt and John said hi and that they are bringing Greg Packer over. They also mentioned they are coming back in April or something.

Anyway, off to Amsterdam in 3 weeks, then Denmark. Then maybe Dublin... we will see.

Im writing from the Netherlands again. Thought I would go back for a week and chase Noisia again =p

Finding dnb gigs in Amsterdam isnt easy either... not much on offer.

Big thanks for Kritical uploading some more pics . As usual, add a comment with a question and ill answer it etc.

Also, if yo want you can go to the first page and see the little request that Kritical made me... THEN go to the gallery for the proof.

You can post me the dbnz hoodie/shirt/whatever tomorrow if you like eh? =p
