I concur on this..... so did my moonboot. Note to all: don't RUN across Zen to see someone in the corner booth and not look where you are running.... those two TINY steps down to the dance floor result in nasty injuries. I helped promote many amateur all ages dance parties like Reflex at the old ministry back sometime between 2000-2001, and a few school balls etc with a few friends. We did a couple of parties at the power station too (like WhiteWash) then moved on to a permanent place in the viaduct. I don't fully know when Ministry closed down, it may have been really late 2001 but I'm pretty sure it was still going in early 2002.. *edit to make sense* chur chur man my memory is hazey what year was it that goldie smashed ministry after the BDO? 1999? or 2000? I can feel the first rising vibes of a dnb frenzy just reading that. New Fu and Zen is all good though, not as good sound but i like the upmarket feel. Nothing will ever beat sound that the old FU bar had of course, that was the cleanest warmest sub i've encountered so far in this life. Anyone else notice how off his racket one of the Asian bartenders is at Fu? That guy is intense man, he did this crazy eye thing and then when it was my turn he gave me a 1000 volt stare which freaked me out made me hesitate on my order and he went to the next guy then didn't serve me again for the rest of the night. Many twisted, but clear memories of proper rinse outs down there - when it was fully cranking words don't do it justice.
