Ignition
Does anybody have a copy of this CD lying around anywhere, or know where I can locate one for download on the Interwebs? I'm rebuilding a customers PC and he has the license for this, but no media. He also doesn't want to pay for 2003/07 and cracked software is not an option... Known One
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4329655/Microsoft_Office_XP_Professional_with_Frontpage If you read the comments, it seems as though its just the standard Office XP install with a Key supplied... just use your Dinosaurs key and you're sussed
Ignition
I managed to track down an original Office XP Pro CD, but the Small Business Edition key doesn't work with it. Cheers for digging though... any other ideas?
perceptualChaos
talk to microsoft... they'll probably help you out for a nominal fee they might even let you upgrade the small business edition key for a pro key
Ignition
Yeah tried MS also, its obsolete so they won't supply the media. Fucking dinosaurs
perceptualChaos
What about upgrading the key to XP professional rather than having to pay for a whole new 2003/2007 license?
Ignition
Yeah it's a good idea, but like I said; this guy is a dinosaur and change must be avoided at all costs. Guess I'll keep on digging...
perceptualChaos
He wouldn't have to change anything - it'd just be the license number since the small business edition and professional edition should be virtually identical meh
Known One
No seeds, but who knows... a seeder may come online and you may be able to get a good portion from the other leechers... http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/46656901/office+xp+small?tab=summary
Ignition
Oh right, sorry I was thinking upgrade to '03 or '07. Good idea, I'll give MS another call.
