Guest Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 well, i wonder what you all think of these cunts. they go and buy their tickets to a gig, then it sells out, and all of a sudden, they "can't go anymore". so, they put the tickets on trade me, for double what they should be, then the price of any available tickets for that gig skyrockets... i'm fuckin sick of it. event organisers need to keep track of these ticket numbers and ban entry. that;d sort the problem out pretty quick if people knew that the tickets were no good no-one would buy them.... Pakage Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 depends if theyre legitimate or not. if its a person whose selling a couple of tickets because unforseen circumstances are preventing them from going to the gig then thats fine. but if they knowingly bought up the remaining tickets to a gig to specifically increase their price by making the supply zero and selling them for a profit then theyre scum! puncture their ear drums! Word, I had to sell a couple of tix a year or two ago (Muse and Marilyn Manson) and made a rediculous profit off them, would have much much rather gone to the gigs but was happy to take what people would pay for them of course. Sucks being on the other side of the situation, has happened to me many a time... On a side rant.. What the shit is up with online only ticket sales!?
