Kris is right about the accusation of playing pirated bootlegs - it's very insulting to get accused of something like that and since it has clearly been shown that MikeE was legit, I think Dr A should apologize for that part of his rant. I definitely should have done my research before 'jumping on the bandwagon'. As Hakomi was alluding to, I think MikeE made himself look like more of a tool than necessary by having Kris talk for him. Not reacting to the flames is all good and probably for the best, but hiding behind someone else is not a good look. This isn't the first time either. IMO if you're going to post something at all you should defend your stance till the end, admit your bad, or at least agree to disagree. I agree that this thread did get out of hand, and that laughing at MikeE is not a nice way to get your daily lolz..... but I also think if MikeE had dealt with it more directly he could have diffused the situation and shifted the focus to a more lighthearted dialogue. MikeE What you said in the first instance while a bit silly wasn't actually that bad in my eyes but when it carried on and you didn't stand up for yourself and actually explain things yourself its really not a good look.
