snowflake
Nom...I haven't tried the Satya on K'Rd, nor Sages... keen Is it hard to make your own curry? I've never even tried.. Jamie Oliver - Ministry of Food ... has a section on easy curries, quick and tasty! The recipes have two options, one is to use a premade curry paste bought from the supermarket (Patak's). The other option is to make your own curry paste using his recipe and if you can follow instructions then your home made curry paste will come out tasting like a bought one. Extra bonus on the home made curry is that it won't have the half a cup of oil that the bought one does.
snowflake
Satya on K Road is choice. Went there last week and hadn't been in for ages so silly me asked for it hot and they double checked whether I was sure about that. Will ask for medium next time. So if you like a proper, decent curry I would certainly push you in that direction.

Ignition
Home made nasi goreng using one of these packets of stuff, rice, prawns, chicken, egg, and vegetables. topped with squeezed lemon - HOLI SHIT! Dunno if this is the exact brand, but you get it from the tofu shop and it's fucken awesome. Also on the Indonesian buzz... This stuff is the business, makes for a delicious marinade base.
