All the support djs were awesome!, Nymfo .... MEAN!, Full Code .... NICE!, Fil Alexander ... OFF THE HOOK ! Kyle Bourke w/ Penelope ...HOT ! After a pretty successful night, Congrats to anyone who scored a mix cd, there will be a video of the night out shortly plus photos. We promise to bring back another in the very near future next time definetly at another venue due to different views with the bar manager, Mike. Once again thanks to everyone that played apart and especially the punters without you it just wouldn't be the same. And if your in the mood for celabrating christmas Collude will be partying it up @ Fu 11 Dece more details to come shortly. We had the pretty standard arrangement between promoters and bar of we take the door they take the bar. At 1.30 they made the call to their staff to start letting people in for FREE saying that there was not as many people in as their usual Friday night. They were charging the odd person 5 bucks, one guy paid 10 Singapore dollars. It was a bit quiet up in Met at this time as most were down in Code because Nymfo had started at 1 and it was busy down there (there would have been approx 350 through the door at this stage). They would have let between 150 and 200 people through, mostly for nothing knowing that we the promoters were dead against it. As most would know between 1 and 3 is a busy time for door entries to a gig like this. We were nicely on our way to covering expenses until this decision was made to basically undermine us and our arrangement which left us out of pocket. Just wanted to put this out there so people know the way these guys can operate as it is a really poor show of integrity when promoters work really hard trying to make a gig successful and don't get the support from the venue they are holding it at. Met and Code was a last resort for somewhere to host Nymfo but is not even a last resort any more. On a lighter note, the gig did go well otherwise and people seemed to really enjoy it. bigups to all that came and contributed.
