KIEV (Reuters) - A man shouting that God would keep him safe was mauled to death by a lioness in Kiev zoo after he crept into the animal's enclosure, a zoo official said on Monday.

"The man shouted 'God will save me, if he exists', lowered himself by a rope into the enclosure, took his shoes off and went up to the lions," the official said.

"A lioness went straight for him, knocked him down and severed his carotid artery."

The incident, Sunday evening when the zoo was packed with visitors, was the first of its kind at the attraction. Lions and tigers are kept in an "animal island" protected by thick concrete blocks

so whats the moral of the story?

dont believe in god?

No no no..

God is Omnipotent & Benevolent.. All Powerful and Well meaning.. it seems like a contradicition because if he has the power to save us and he means well.. why did this man get mauled by a lion?

Imagine you had a kid.. now you would obviously love that kid.. and you would do everything in your power to protect the said kid. Would you let him/her ride a bike?..

The moral of this story is don't let your kids climb down into a lion enclosure.. regardless if they're well past child-hood.

God was protecting the guy... he protected him by having the lions in a fuckin enclosure.

HAHA!

yeah.. idiot.. goddam eh. some people are just fuckin idiots! Atleast that lion provided us the service of natural selection! Removing someone dumb enough to jump in a lion cage screaming "GOD WILL SAVE ME IF HE EXISTS" from the gene pool is definately a step in the right direction!

heres some more news from the same site:

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Hosts of a chat show on a Hong Kong radio station apologized Tuesday for an Internet survey asking its listeners to vote which actress they would most like to sexually assault.

The Commercial Radio poll drew widespread criticism last week, with teachers, legislators and ordinary citizens slamming it for advocating violence against women and for corrupting youth.

"The program hosts and co-workers publicly apologize for any offence that the Internet poll 'Which female artiste would you most like to sexually assault' caused to female artistes and everyone in Hong Kong," a message posted on the radio Web site said.

The hosts also promised to be more careful in selecting the content of its shows in future.
