A half marathon would be that same route, but instead of goin down sandringham road, id go down dominon road to mt. albert road then along. I think i might wind back a bit and work on my speed a bit more.

 

still 14 weeks till race day.

I made the mistake of training 21km on flat ground, then finding that the actual event was a hilly motherfucker. Hope you don't fall into the same trap mang!

 

EDIT: nvm, just looked at your map, def some good ups and downs in that.

theres a bunch of hills in that route; west end road, newton gully, the approach to mt albert road and end of meola road.

 

Hill training definitely is key though, im gonna have to find somewhere thats comparible to the harbour bridge and at about the same point of my run.
