The pop culture monthly glossy, which was originally published by Real Groovy Records but later taken over by Tangible Media, will merge with its free street-press offshoot The Groove Guide from mid-November. In a letter to contributors, editor Sam Wicks says the merger "reflects the challenge of the times". The magazine started out as a freebie in 1993 before eventually hitting magazine stands with a cover price in the late 90s.
