Can you imagine how many acres of grazes these guys must get when they start out? Eep.

I wonder if this could be classified as evidence of modern urban environmental adaptation? Their method of urban traverse seems vaguely reminiscent of other primates in their natural environment, takes the term Concrete Jungle just a bit further I think.

I'm convinced these guys do Ninjitsu..

Falling Techniques (Ukemi Gata) is one of the 18 disciplines of Ninjitsu, they start you off doing simple forward rolls but with practise I guess you get to these guys level.

Basically as you can see in the video, if you can land into a forward roll (Zempo Kaiten) it's possible to keep running after a large fall.

If anyone feels like giving it a go you don't need to find a large building.. just start rolling around in your living room.

You basically roll from your shoulder to your hip.. don't roll on your neck because you're going to fuck yourself up. You're basically trying to roll diagonally over your spine, this way you're less likely to break your back. So if you start a roll from your right shoulder you need to end the roll on your left hip.

Get use to rolling over both shoulders, once you get good try and land with one foot on the ground (so with your knee up) then after that try running into a roll and then stand up straight away.. then try it after jumping off a building
