So... It's a week and a half since shit went bananas down here in ChuChur, and finally, we have power back on in our street! So what better way to celebrate on this hot, cloudless (apart from the dust), beautiful day than to crank the stereo nice and loud and put on Brown Paper Bag... Anything to feel slighly normal again. And perhaps give the Student Army kids next-door some good beats to listen to.

 

Still no water or Telstra Cable, but at least my phone gets 3g now that it's charged (mental note: buy car charger for stupid Palm Treo P.O.S).

 

Thoughts go out to all those lost in this fucked up tragedy, and to those who've lost their homes and livelyhoods. I would never have believed that I would one day see this sort of destruction and loss happen in a town that I call home.
