Ducky
I know a few of youse are into your rides so i thought this would be a good place to ask. Have just gotten Subaru Legacy TS wagon and spent today putting in an alarm/sounds and replaced all the factory speakers... Still need to sort a few things before summer kicks in proper. So, has anyone had experience or got any advice for the following car shit: Applying tint film. Wing mirrors having a bit of play in them(they are fold in kind). Know of a good(not too crazy spendy) shocks guy and or re-gas place. Any ideas/advice appreciated
Pakage
tint film is a pain in the ass, ive done it myself before but you have to take the window right out of the door to do it properly. Then when you apply it, you basically want the window drenched in mildly soapy water and use a roller to squeeze it all out. Id honestly just pay someone to do it for you though. much less hassle and less chance of it bubbling up later. Its quite cheap these days. zzzp
as craig said but you can do a pritty good job with tints without removing the windows; tints get tricky when you start getting into corners, you need to apply a heatgun to the stretch it abit to make it stick. everytime ive done the lot minus the rear window and left it for a pro to do. shocks, if you go new, go to BNT, hit em up for trade price. if you get a mechanic to install em shouldnt take any more than 1.5 hours not to sure about ya wing mirrors, plenty of subarus at pick a part, worst case.
