So i DJ'd the NZ game developers social last night at the corporate box in town,bout a hundred people there guess....I was anticipating endless requests for music i neither had or would play but to my surprise not one of those nerds even bothered to request a single song in 4 hours,I was playing hiphop,dub,some motown,couple 80's bangers,some funk,reggae etc even sly'd in a few dnb tracks (and i wasn't getting all niche genre on their asse's either,i played stuff that they would know) and according to the one guy that actually came and talked to me (while i was packing up) everyone was well into it but i couldn't tell the whole time as nobody danced or made a single request.....they barely even looked at me.

It was weird,I've never ever experienced that before,I had 2 drinks,got paid,watched some nerds pretend to hit each other with giant boxing gloves(pathetic) and then left.

Easiest $400 I've ever made.

Hundred people all getting drunk and not one dancer or request......unheard of.
